Send Message Error: Failed to connect to SMTP server

I am unable to send emails to anyone from my computer. Currently, I am using  windows live 2011 here is a screen shot below showing up the error message –

Send Message Error

Sending of message failed.

The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server 127.0.0.1 failed.

The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your

SMTP server settings are correct and try again, or contact the server administrator.

Send Message Error: Failed to connect to SMTP server

 

Dear Asten,

You have problems in sending email from your computer. You are using Internet Explorer, Thunderbird v3, Incredimail & windows live messenger. When you try to send mail, it shows error.

Here are some solutions for you.

** You are using 2-3 mailing software together, so it may be any incompatibility in between mailing software.

** Please uninstall all the mailing software.

**Now restart your computer.

** Now install thunderbird & try to send mail.

** If problem remains, then you need to reinstall your operating system.
