I am searching for a countdown alarm gadget for windows 7 to remind me of some of my important tasks. Is there any gadget like this? Please tell me how to get this gadget.

This may be what you were looking for. I spent ages searching for "countdown alarms" but nothing did what I wanted, but a search for "timer alarms" finally found it.
