My scanner is good and functioning well but all of a sudden it's debuted. It stopped functioning and displays message "HP CUE'' -Flow Component of scanner has meet an error and needs to be close. I try again to scan by pressing the scan button.

I also go into the HP solution center but still the same error displayed. I check the printer and copier which are good and functioning well. I was puzzled since i have done nothing with this nor downloaded any new software, I don't have idea about the problem. Any one does?

Just follow this steps that may help you:

Go to the registry. Open the Digital Imaging folder, check the presence of String Value ''ProfileWritePath'' in the right hand side pane with the value setting of %APPDATA%HPDigital ImagingDataDestination. If absence of String Value just right click the new tab for making a new one and name it ''ProfileWritePath'' and right click on that after.

Next is Modify tab and you must ensure its value setting is '%APPDATA%HPDigital ImagingDataDestination' then you can close the registry editor. Proceed now to My Computer C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataHPDigital ImagingData and see if the folder of destination is there.

If none make a new one and name it destination. If you can't locate the Application Data under all users select the tool menu and mark the folder menu.

From there click the view tab and under Hidden files and Folders ensure the mark of ''Show Hidden Files and Folders'' before clicking on Apply and then Ok. And try it if it's now functioning.
