I have two computers, and I was working with this kind which troubles me a lot. I have files to the both, and while I was uploading this computer was troubling. The Windows Dropbox is neither responding nor retrieving files from web.

I have important files on this computer and I want to send it to the other one, but not lucky for me since before doing it error interrupts. Internet connection is very active, and now I don't know why it sync nor even connects and re-links. Please help me.

Hello,

Here are some things to do about your current problem:

From your Control panel you have to uninstall your Dropbox and then computer must be reboot. Proceed to your Firewall and detach all rules with regard to Dropbox. Next, you need to unlink your computer at www.dropbox.com/account/manage.

You will now then reinstall a new dropbox at www.dropbox.com/install, if in case you need it so. The issue was caused by McAfree Firewall, even it was set to allow dropbox though it won't work. Hopefully you find this one a good solution.

Hi there,

Well first of all I recommend uninstalling dropbox, and then clean the registry with a registry cleaner like CCleaner.

After installing CCleaner and uninstalling dropbox, disable your Firewall(if you have one) and restart.

After restarting install dropbox and it will work normally, then log-out of dropbox and exit the application. And restart your firewall and start dropbox again and logging into your account.

If the same problem persists, then your Firefox needs to be configured properly to accommodate the ports that dropbox is using.
