SATA 3 runs more like a SATA 2

My OCZ Agility 3 60gb is plugged in to a SATA 6GB port and I set it to AHCI in the BIOS. I noticed that it's slow and runs more like a SATA 2 so I checked it with CrystalDiskInfo and it says the hard drive is fine. What else could be causing this problem? I need help.

SATA 3 runs more like a SATA 2

Hello Avah

Try the following the given below steps and see if it helps

(a) Ensure that the SSD has the latest firmware.

(b) Update you system BIOS to the latest version.

Now run the crystal info once again. Compare the earlier and present speed. A SATA -3 SSD drive should be giving a speed of around 200 MB/s on the least side. Though OCZ advertises a speed of 525 MB/s, it is very difficult to realize it.
