Run time Error -2147024769: Automation Error

My Google Chrome is crashing nowadays. And the default homepage which supposed to be www.google.com have changed into something new. Additionally, there are added tools below my address bar and some software is also added on my computer. Aside from that, when I run Malwarebytes to check and clean my computer, it throws an error stating:

Run-time error '-2147024769 (8007007f)': Automation error. The specified procedure could not be found.

What is the meaning of this error and how can it be fix? Please help.

Run time Error -2147024769: Automation Error

This error is due to an issue with misconfigured system files or damage in your system files. And this may be because of the following:

1. Incomplete installation or uninstallation.

2. Deleting applications incorrectly.

3. If your PC have just been recovered from a virus or adware.

4. Improper shut down on your computer.

Also, this error may be a registry entry issue or you need to update your Microsoft .NET Framework. Or may be your computer is infected or there may be some software conflicts. To fix this, you need to install the latest Microsoft MDAC. Additionally, you may try running your System File Checker to replace missing system files. Just open your Command Prompt and run SFC /SCANNOW and then press enter.
