Hello guys,
I rebooted my computer and suddenly I've lost my data files on the hard disk. All files including my important documents have been deleted, and when I open my file folders, it is already empty.
I really need your help regarding on how can I recover data for NTFS DOS?
Thanks!

Hi there,

If it is deleted, look for the recycle bin. Or maybe “malware” or viruses hide some files that are missing. To do this go to tools the folder option then view tab and then choose show hidden folders or try using system restore. Another suggestion is try using this “Recuva software” or “Restoration software” Hope this helps.

Hi,

You cannot Recover NTFS Files in DOS Mode. Try Recover my files, Get DATA Back For NTFS – FAT, Also Don't copy any new files to the data lost partition of your hard disk drive Esus Data recovery is also known as a good data recovery tool. Hope this works

Thanks

Since the problem has something to do with your files that suddenly gone missing after rebooting your computer, try checking your hard drive for errors. Try downloading PC Tools Performance Toolkit and install. Once installed, start PC Tools then go to “Recovery” tab and click “Repair Drives.” On the next screen, select the drive you want to check.

From the options, select “Repair Drive” and check “Perform on reboot.” Click “Start” then “Continue.” Exit PC Tools then restart the computer to begin the check. The checking will be quite long depending on the size of the drive and the extent of the problem. This test will not perform surface scan and will not check for bad sectors.

The test will focus on errors in the file system and file errors. If errors were found, check if the files are restored. If not, go to the Recycle Bin and check if your files were moved there.
