I run a dual boot up with Windows 8.1 and OSX Mavericks on a Mac computer. When I'm in Windows and I watch videos from dailymotion, I get sounds clip popping up randomly. It really annoys and bugs me a lot but I cannot get rid of it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
This is a very common problem. It happens due to pop ups from the website you are viewing.
What you could do to avoid this is, go to your browser settings and then enable pop up blocking. This will block pop ups and ask for your permission from the next time onwards.

This sound is from your pop-up blocker. There are two things you can do here, either you can change the sound your are hearing or you can disable it.
1. Go to IE -> tools -> pop-up blocker -> pop-up blocker setting.
2.  Under "Notifications and blocking level",  there will be an option of  "Play a sound when a pop-up is blocked" checkbox, uncheck that box.
3. You should not hear any sound after that, only the yellow screen on the top.
To change the sound
Go to System sounds option and you will find it under "Windows Explorer > Blocked Pop-up Window". There you can change it.
