Hello All, I recently bought Sony Vaio, when I connect my laptop through VGA, I can’t change the resolution. I disable my graphics and I couldn’t use my VGA output. I tried on Windows 8, still no solution. Please let me know. Thank you all.

Hello,

When you buy any piece of hardware manufacturer send drivers (usually on CD) with it. So before putting your piece of hardware into your computer, run installation file on driver CD and make sure drivers are installed. After drivers are installed, put your graphics card into computer, turn on computer and your drivers should automatically be installed on graphics card.

Hello

There might be a problem with your graphic drive.

Try to uninstall the graphic drive and reinstall it again.

Enable your graphic after installing the drivers and now connect your laptop through VGA and you can set your own resolution.

Make sure that you are keeping update of your drivers on regular bases.

Hope you got some need full from the post.
