To simply answer your question: Yes, smartphones and android phones are being bought like pancakes that everyone is using Wi-Fi or any similar network connection to connect to their social networking accounts. But smartphones are not the only criminals here, as the constant release of new tablets month after month is also the culprit in heavy internet traffic. With the introduction of the Ipv6, which further expands the number of available, unused IP addresses to another billion. This is an unavoidable move because more and more businesses are opening up worldwide and some if not all of these businesses need websites to market or provide their services which in turn, needs their own IP addresses. We are currently using the Ipv4 architecture, but a few days ago the Ipv6 was properly integrated by leading companies worldwide. Let us wait the following months for Ipv6 to fully propagate in the whole world.
