There are a number of processes listed in the Task Manager about which I have a little bit of knowledge. Can anyone help me to understand the processes in detail? Also, I would like to know the shortcut key to delete a file permanently from the system.Â

Processes listed in the Task Manager
Hello Earstine,
The processes in the task manager mainly comprises of the processes being carried out by you as the user and the system itself.
When you press CTRL+ALT+DEL on the keyboard and task manager, in the task manager you will see the processing that you are running. If it is a browser that you are using to surf the internet, or a word document you are working on you will see them there.
All the other processes are the system processes which are support the applications that you are running and therefore you cannot stop them from running. Of you terminate them the system might not work properly.
The shortcut for permanently deleting files is SHIFT+DELETE.
Hope this helps.
