Problem with this Windows Installer package

One week ago I updated my computer with Windows7. However when I attempt to run Intel® WIDI an error occurred with the following message. I have attempted to uninstall and install again but could not get any benefit.

Problem with this Windows Installer package

Hello, You get this error message because the windows installer package you trying to install may be damaged or another components required to install before this installation process running. For solving the issue, you can first check whether this installer package is compatible with windows 7 or not . This might cause the problem. Thanks.

Problem with this Windows Installer package

Hi,

To solve this problem, please perform these steps:

1. Start the computer in safe mode, then log on as local administrator.

2. Click Start -> Run. Type cmd.exe, click Ok.

3. At the command prompt, type msiexec /unregister and press Enter -> exit command prompt.

4. After that process remove the software from Programs and Features.
