Problem while trying to install Nero software

Hi all,

When I try to install Nero software, I get a problem of "Unable to register".

'C:Program FilesNeroNero7NeroShowTimeiHDRuntime… code 100'

Then I tried to setup it with dissimilar CDs as well as different Versions (7 and 8), but unfortunately, all have the similar problem.

I need to solve it. What is the reason? Please tell.

Problem while trying to install Nero software

Hello Casey,

Nero Version 7 & 8 are not supported in Windows 7 System. To run Nero in Windows 7 you would need Nero 9 & higher.Or you can try Roxio. Or, you can download the Nero General Clean Tool utility from their site and run it .After using it  to remove the program files restart your Computer. Then run it once more even if no program is listed. Just make sure the “clean all” box is checked and run it again.You can use it instead of uninstalling the malfunctioning apps. It will clean the registry as well.Then install it again. Make Sure you have no other burning software installed on your computer & you have the latest versions of Direct X installed.This will do the trick.
