I have setup two client-server programs in two different desktop computer with same configuration and OS. But I am facing problem while trying to connect the host machine and encountered with an error message like:

Cannot connect to host *********: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
When a computer is using client server programs, using the same OS and configuration then you shouldn't encounter problem.
The messages you've get, cannot connect to host******* could not be made mainly because of the settings of the computer refused to let you access the network.
The settings from computer should be open, Firewall should allow the access and should not have IP Address conflict. The publishing server should use RTSP on port 554. You may need to run the test to find out if the publishing server and it's services are running.
Do the telnet vappserv 554 then enter in command prompt. If you get a message refused to connect then it's the Firewall is blocking the issue.Â
