Need drivers for Webcam on DELL Vostro 1015

Hi,

I have a problem with my webcam on my laptop DELL Vostro 1015. When renovation of my windows 7 integral to Windows 7 Professional, I did a little research of webcam driver on the official website of DELL, but I found nothing.

Until now, the web cam does not work anymore. I have not found any drivers. Help me please.

Hi,

I think I can help you with that problem. to resolve your problem first step is to uninstall any remnants of the old webcam driver on windows 7 so just click on start, then right click on Computer then choose Manage.

This will open up device manager. Click on the plus sign for Imaging Devices.

Then right click on Integrated webcam and choose Uninstall. Afterwards restart your computer. Once after the system restarts the computer will notify you that it is reinstalling the webcam drivers. If this doesn't work your next option is to download the latest webcam driver which is Webcam Central.

you can download it from this link http://ftp.us.dell.com/app/R168730.EXE. This program is by Creative and then branded by Dell. In other words Dell's webcam's are manufactured by creative. hope this helps.
