Problem setting up two Monitors

Why are the two monitors I set on my system not working? I need to use two monitor with my Laptop. I am running some analysis that require a large screen and I don’t want to spend on another monitor with large screen, thereby leaving me with no option than to use two monitor. I have set up the two monitors, but the other monitor is not working; only the main monitor is working.

Problem setting up two Monitors

Here is what you could try. You must try any monitor at hand for its compatibility. Plug the monitor input jack to the laptop and plug the monitor from the power supply, switch it on and observe if the monitor will flashes the image made by the computer. If in case, no image or whatsoever, the monitor you connected might not be compatible with the laptop. Later model or flat screen monitor might provide compatibility with your laptop.
