Problem with recently updated Norton 360

I have recently updated copy of Norton 360 and have always been satisfied with it. I have a fresh copy of windows and installed Norton as my main security. The problem I am facing is that when Norton tries to scan an individual file on my documents it gets stuck and the laptop needs to restart. Help please?

Problem with recently updated Norton 360

Your Norton 360 properly not updated or properly don't work. so you go to microsoft.com and download Microsoft security essentials antivirus. Microsoft security essentials are best antivirus. so download and install it and scan your laptop. If your problem not solved so you can set up new windows and format your local drive (c). After finishing windows setup, then again scan your laptop.
