Hello there,

We have a server running OCS 2007 R2. It has been working fine for a number of weeks but last friday we had to rebooted and since them all clients that are running Windows 7 are getting a red exclamation client on the OCS icon and the following error " Cannot synchronize with the corporate address book. This might be because the proxy server setting in your web browser does not allow access to the address book.

If the problem persist, contact your system administrator". Windows XP clients are not affected.

You can go to this website to download your company's CA certificate: http://<CAServer>/certsrv.

Select Retrieve the CA Certificate or Certificate Revocation List, then click the Next button. Download now the certificate and save it on your desktop. On the Start button, click Run and in the Run dialog box, key in mmc and press enter.

On File choose Add/Remove Snap in, click Add > Select Certificates > Add. Select Computer Account, then Local Computer. Click Finish > Close > Ok. Expand certificates > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates > All Tasks > Import, then click Next. Browse for the certificate on the desktop, click the Next button twice and then Finish. Try your Communicator again and it would be working.
