Hi Experts,
The problem is with my DirectX. While playing a game it has just stopped working. Present configuration of my machine is HD 7970 GPU with 3 GB of RAM. I visited the respective site of the game and found my configuration compatible with the game. I do not know the reason behind this error.
DirectX Error

Hi Olivia Aust,
That means you have lack of virtual memory, you have to add some more virtual memory by right clicking My computer, properties, advance system settings, then click the advance tab, click the settings under performance then advance again, under the virtual memory click change then add your desired size of memory depending on the free space of your hard drive, click ok, ok again and restart the computer before it take effect. You can also add GPU memory in CMOS setup.

Hi Olivia,
I will do my best to help you. From the error description, it is sure that, your AMD 7970 graphics card has a total memory less than 512 MB. You have 3GB RAM, but graphics VRAM is different. Now a days, games are utilizing very high resource and require higher VRAM. So you do not have 512 MB VRAM. That’s why your game stopped and DirectX displayed the error.
