I am using Windows 7 Starter, the problem occurs when I want to use Bluetooth and showed a pop up and saying that the computer does not support the pairing with my Bluetooth phone.

When i check with device manager it shows that there is a problem with Bluetooth peripheral device with yellow question mark logo.

I have updated the Bluetooth devices and still failed, so I uninstall driver and installed it again and keep telling me that Windows can not found update for this device.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Hi there,

Windows 7 have some limitation. I think Windows cannot detect modem device that means there is a driver problem in your windows system. Every modem needs its own driver software so that windows can drive this device perfectly. So uninstall the driver software and reinstall it can be helpful. You must have to use it’s own driver software. If you don’t have just downloaded it form https://filehippo.com/.

If you have a plug and play Bluetooth device then In this case driver software will install automatically. If it is not working then setup it manually. Go to control panel then phone and modem options and install it form here.

If you have an HP computer, try downloading the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturer’s website. For HP computers and related products, go to HP Customer Support – Software and Driver Downloads. Here, select your product type. On the next page, enter your product’s serial number or model number then click to search.

You can find the serial number printed on the sticker either on the side or bottom of your device. When your product is located, click it to go to the download page then select the drivers download tab or section. Your operating system should be detected automatically. If a different operating system is displayed, click to change then select your correct operating system.

Download and install all available drivers and software for your product. If this doesn’t work or the driver can’t be installed, it is probably because you are using the Starter version of Windows 7. Try shifting to a much new version.
