Problem with horizontal scroll on a Logitech G502 Proteus Core

I have a problem with my Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse and the scroll left-right functions. They do not seem to be working. I have the latest Logitech Gaming Software, all the other functions work fine, except for this one. It is quite inconvenient, especially in certain games, or even Excel files. Is it a problem with my device, or a larger software bug? Is it fixable?

Hi John, based on your description of the device, this is not a driver glitch but an inherent hardware flaw.  Logitech is a great manufacturer of a lot of stuff, but even the big giant Microsoft won’t escape manufacturing defects at one point or another. There is even on case wherein it takes him 2 seconds before the mouse can interpret his movement. But here is one quick fix guaranteed to somehow alleviate your current situation. Just try to access the Logitech Gaming Software, then try to navigate through the Customize button. Next step is to choose your Default Profile. Then try to click the Assign New Command for Right Scroll. On the Keystroke window which will pop out, select the Home button. Then click OK. Try to do the same for the Scroll Left. Except for this one select End button. Now try it and it will surely ease somehow your predicament with the mouse.
