I understand that when you pressed on Ctrl+Alt+Del or Ctrl+Shift+Esc or by right-clicking on the Taskbar, you are trying to open the Task Manager. I am not just sure if you already tried the following steps:

1. Go to C:WINDOWSSystem32taskmgr.exe.

2. Click on Start and then type taskmgr On the search box and press the Enter key.

You will need to click on the processes tab to view the applications running. And then select the process that you wish to end and then click on End Task. If you will be prompted with an error stating that your Task Manager has been disabled by Administrator, just log on to your computer as the administrator. If you already logged on as the administrator and yet you are still getting the same issue, it may be because of some antivirus program that is blocking you from ending the processes.

If you are running Windows XP, follow the steps below:

1. Click on Start > Run and then type gpedit.msc and click OK.

2. Select the User Configuration on the Group Policy window and then select the Administrative Templates.

3. Select System and then Ctrl+Alt+Del option.

4. Select the Remove Task Manager and then open the Remove Task Manager option.

When you disable the Remove Task Manager policy, you are enabling the Task Manager and if you are under Windows Vista, you will notice that there is no jpedit. If this is the case, go to the Control Panel and then click on Programs and Features. Uninstall your antivirus software or search for Process Explorer on Google and download it and install it.

Hi there ,

There are many ways to open task manager . And it seems you need help finding these ways out.

These are the different ways you can access the task manager : –

1. Press ctrl + shift + escape key together to directly open the task manager You don't need to press the default keys ctrl + alt + del and then click on task manager in the new window to open the task manager.

2. Go to start and then click on run or for shortcut press win key + r and in the windows that appears type task manager and press enter to open the task manager.

3. Right click on the task bar at the bottom and select open task manager to open the task manager.

4. Go to my computer and then open the C drive -> Windows -> System32 .

Find the file taskmgr.exe and then double click to open it.

Good luck.
