My Dell 5130 is working with the Generic PostScript Driver on Lion, but it will print multiple copies of every print job I push out and if I try to print new jobs, it will start printing the previous job first and always pause the printer in between jobs. Is there any fix? I have tried to install the actual dell 5130 drivers but it doesn't look like they are working either…

When printing numbers of copies, the printer's memory will remembered the old commands given to the machine.

Upon printing multiple copies and it did not complete the job, the printer's last command was to finished it's job. Whenever you print a new jobs, it will finished the last job first before it will print the new command.

What you need to do is to turn off the printer and reboot it back. In this steps, you will refreshing the memory of the printer and is ready to take another job again.

You can also restart your computer and set the new printer settings again, stop the previous command given and start from re-start it back.
