Installing a multi-purpose Fuji Printer in our Local Area Connection

Hi!

We have a printer Fuji Printer LP5500. We don't know how to install it to our local area connection. How to configure this properly? Do I need to connect it firs with a regular desktop computer or just directly connect it to our LAN hub? What are the best features of this xerox-printer? How's the quality? How much is the ink's replacement? Can we use this printer even the user is at the other side of the building?
