Hi there,

I have an HP Deskjet D2545 printer which is giving me a lot of problems, it was working well with Windows 8 and when I upgraded to Windows 8.1 PDF documents stopped printing, all other kinds of printing are working okay but PDF's are not working at all, I have upgraded the drivers, I have reinstalled Windows again and nothing works, what could be the problem?

PDF files need PostScript drivers and HP doesn't support PostScipt. Check for the present PDF driver version as it may not be compatible with Windows 8.1. Since you have updated to Windows 8.1 ensure that you also updated your Adobe Reader. Windows 8.1 does not have the ability to print PDF from Windows Reader. You can take advantage of PDF2Printer for Windows 8.1 to print PDF file to any printer from explorer (as per screen shot below). Right-click on your PDF document and choose print select your target printer and print.

You can also try using Bullzip PDF printer which supports MS 8.1 version. The other option is to roll back to 8.0.
