Please help me am so lost with this?

I’ve got an ASUS G50VT series, Notebook I recently restored back to its factory settings, from then on  its connectivity has not been  steady,  the signal is steady it indicates that the  connection is good. It connects well but after every Two (2) to Five (5) minutes it disconnects, it keeps on doing like that even when am near the router or some distance away from the router. Although when am directly connected to the router through a cable it works fine but when am using the wireless mode it gets unsteady. I don’t know whether the problem is being caused by the connectivity settings on the laptop. Any help please? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I have read the problem you are facing. This type of problem occurs frequently after new installation or restoring factory settings. For this situation I think the wireless settings are not okay in your laptop. Check the wireless setting of your notebook thoroughly. There might be any small problem with any setting. The system works properly with the cable. So this is not a router issue. So I will ask you for a thorough check of the system. Also there might be a possibility of virus attacking that attacks wireless internet settings. You can contact your internet service provider for this matter. Otherwise you may reinstall windows and try then.
