Internet connectivity issues, Help please?

My laptop is having this problem. When I connect it to the internet through our home network it doesn’t connect.

When I check the connection settings it indicates that it’s connected, and the connection is working properly, but when I go to my browser its shows me that its offline. It’s also having the same problem with the peer to peer network (p2p) and all other programs that connects to the internet.

My PC and my laptop are connected on the same server, but there are connecting to the internet properly, they don’t seem to have a problem. Then today at school I tried to connect to the internet using their server.

The internet was connected, but it again could not get the internet through. I tried using the internet setting transfer wizard from my PC to the Laptop, but it never worked.

This problem happened before, and I formatted the laptop and after formatting it worked well, so am about to format it again, if I don’t get a way of making it work.

Is there anybody in here with a solution to this problem?

Please help me out.

Hello,

I have understood the problem you are facing.

But without knowing the operating system it is impossible to answer this question.

If you work with windows 7 then try to use the troubleshooting wizard in the operating system.

It may work if the problem is settings based.

But as you have encountered this problem before and formatting was acted as a solution.

Then I think the problem is some bad virus.

So using any strong antivirus with updated edition may help in this matter.

If nothing works, then I guess there is no other solution than formatting the laptop.

I have thoroughly read your post above. I have actually faced the same issue before. It really annoyed me as I had just gotten my new laptop. I thought the issue was my operating system.

Because networking is a very complex process, there can be a lot of possibilities for problems and reasons for errors.

 

I would suggest that you check with your network troubleshooting wizard. It should assist you in overcoming your laptop issues. It is also possible that t’s a virus problem. Usually viruses attack the .exe files you have installed in your computer.

 

What you can do is to set your software correctly and accurately to solve this issue.

Networking computers is a pretty complex process, and there are a lot of possibilities for problems.

It is very difficult to say because what you have done before the problem has occurred.

I have understood the problem you are facing. But without knowing the operating system it is impossible to answer this question. If you work with windows 7 then try to use the troubleshooting wizard in the operating system.

It may work if the problem is settings based. It can be a virus problem where virus attack your exe file which is installed in your computer.
