I am urgently in need of a person, most likely a router who may have some already loaded firmware that can enable me appropriate allocations to my clients on my system set up on IP or MAC.
Routers have their own firmware already on the device, or at least the more recent ones already have them. These routers have DHCP capability which allows for automatic allocation of IP addresses to all the clients that connect to the network. Some also allows for connection filters that only allow connection from clients whose MAC addresses are registered on the network, otherwise connections will not be granted. The router can be configured to accommodate only a given number of clients, this is to provide more control over the network and for security reasons as well. Just get one of the newer routers and you should be good to go.
