Is it possible to clone a bigger hard drive to a smaller one even though the actual size to be cloned will fit the smaller hard drive? How?

I think it is possible if you think the available space is enough or is more than enough to fit the cloned drive. When you clone a drive it will occupy an additional space besides the actual size of the drive that was cloned.

If the available space is just enough for the cloned drive to fit, it would be hard to work around because there will be not enough space available if you need to add something to the drive.

It is still best if you have a much bigger container disk for the cloned drive than to make it fit in a small one.
