Peachtree Accounting 2009: Error after upgrading to 2012

I upgraded Peachtree 2009 Complete Accounting to the latest version which is 2012. I am running Windows Vista SP2 32-bit PC. The problem is, I am getting a random error stating “Peachtree Accounting has stopped working – A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” It’s a bit annoying now. I need help!

Peachtree Accounting 2009: Error after upgrading to 2012

Hi There! Several errors may happen when Peachtree closes, but none of them should affect your data integrity. I might help, Can you please right click on the peachtree shortcut on your desktop then click properties. In the target field, click end, and after the -> “ , type a space then BSC. Try clicking OK, and open peachtree. If still not working, please go to Peechtree trouble shooting/forum/duestion and answer site: http://www.peachtree-support.com/Sage-Peachtree-accounting-frequently-asked-questions.asp. That should solve your question, although other factors such as Anti Virus, Firewall, Anti Spyware, may also be components of the error.
