When I installed Adobe Reader 10.0 is in a protected mode. One of the features of the secure mode is that I cannot open PDF files whose source is DFS or NFS. A message appeared: PDF files in shared locations on a distributed or networked file system (DFS/NFS) cannot be opened. When attempting to open such file, I get an error:  Access denied." What will I do? Please help.

To open your files like DFS or NFS you have to open it in unprotected mode. If you do not open it in unprotected mode you have to face this type of error. So if you want to open the file you have to set you adobe reader to unprotected mode. For doing this you have to disable the protected mode by following these steps.

Go to Edit > Preferences > General and in this tab deselect the enable protected mode at startup. After this you have to restart the adobe reader.  Now you can open your DFS and NFS file in your adobe reader.
