Pathfinder is not refreshing; the window is automatically in Lion.

I am using Lion version 5.7.8. For refreshing a file list, F5 has to be pressed, because it is not automatically refreshing. I want to know how I can restore the automatic refresh.

Hello Demi Lovey,

That could be a problem with the pathfinder that you are using, maybe it has some broken registry settings that will need to be fixed. So I will suggest that run a registry repair tool on your computer and try to fix those problems.

Otherwise, if the problem does not go away, I will recommend that you download another copy of pathfinder from the internet, and I will recommend that you download from the following site, and then install it:

https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/6371/path-finder

In this version of pathfinder, the refreshing issue has been fixed, and also a bug that is sometimes experienced when using the trash menus has been fixed too. Other problems that were experienced in the former versions that have been fixed in this are the issue the quick look view window, the bug with the subversion plug-in and the problem that caused files to be duplicated with slashes in their name.
