Outlook 2010 shows Offline and never turns Online

Everything was working fine till today and now i can see its always offline and when i manually click the online also it stays offline

Any ideas on how to fix this offline issue on my Outlook?

To repair the Microsoft Outlook Work Offline error follow the below steps.

1. First of all restart your Outlook client.

2. Then click on the "Send/Receive" tab.

3. And finally click on the “Work Offline”.

But Microsoft solution is creating a new Outlook Profile is the best way to solve this problem. To create a new Outlook profile follow these steps:

1. Click on the Show Profile button.

2. Select add button.

3. Then follow the instructions & Outlook will connect to the Exchange server which will help automatically to create a new profile.

4. With a new profile you will able to have Outlook prompt you regarding which profile you wish to utilize while Outlook starts.

5. If you specify a profile make sure you specify the new one you just made. This will confirm Outlook will start up and search for a connection to the Exchange server rather than disregard the Exchange server and Work Offline.
