When running the IBM Lotus Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook Setup, I am facing the following error when trying to check / load my lotus notes ID;

"Operation stopped at your request"

What is wrong with my system? What can I do to fix it?

I need some help.

Thanks very much.

Your problem can be summed up with the fact that the setup did not complete and you end up with the error “operation stopped at your request”.

The reason for this is a corrupt ID file. One possible way that this file was corrupted is with a wrong save of a file.

For instance, instead of downloading and detaching the ID file from your email, you may have opened the file in Notepad and saved from Notepad. Resolving the problem involves using the uncorrupted ID file and then restarting and finally completing setup.

Some possible way on solving this problem:

Requirements:

* At least windows xp or windows vista.
* run Outlook xp with sp3, Outlook 2003 with sp2 or Outlook 2007 with sp1.
* Set email client to Outlook. verify by checking Internet explorer, Tool>Internet Options> Programs.
* Familiarize hierarchical name of your Domino mail server.
* Notes ID file required DAMO setup. Make sure your Notes ID must be stored in your person document on the domino server or must have a local copy.
