Olympus Pro Dictaphone Audio cannot transcribe

Hi there !

I got this issue from Olympus Pro Dictaphone Audio that is not compatible with Dragon Dictate 3 for MAC Transcription module from Nuance and I don’t know why. On the website it says that they are compatible with each other. I did something wrong ? Can anyone help me ?

The file , ‘DS700184.aif.’ cannot be transcribed.

Dictate cannot use files with sampling rates below 22.050 kilohertz.

Olympus Pro Dictaphone Audio cannot transcribe

Olympus has released DSS Player Plus version 7.3.3 for your Mac and this is compatible with AIF Audio Files

This update include the fix to be able to convert audio recorded on the DS-7000 in DSS pro format to a high quality .aif which can be used with by the Nuance Dragon Dictate 3.  If you have both the DSS player plus installed and Sonority on your Mac, you must uninstall Sonority before you can update the DSS Player Plus.

The format settings for converting of DSS/DS2 files to an .aif file can be found on the DSS Player Plus menu, click on Preferences and you can see the settings for the conversion.
