Obscure but Useful Apps That You Have Discovered

There are hundreds of thousands of apps crisscrossing the internet every second. There some apps which are very useful and others which are not so appealing. I would like to know if you have come across a particular kind of app that you think is very useful and effective but is not quite popular with people? If you have found such an obscure app, do you mind giving the link to access it?

Obscure but Useful Apps That You Have Discovered

Hello,

 

It is not an app, but rather an operating system. The tiny OS bundles scores of tiny and useful utilities and steers you towards many more. It is the Tiny Core linux distro. It's absolutely brilliant and versatile, but still very light on machine resources. There are many that claim to be lightweight, but fail to really impress. It outperforms many other similar distros.
