Hello,

I am new to Visual Trader and I have been attempting to setup user data in Visual Trader 4. I could create a new map and then I edited the symbol list and transferred the symbols. When I click on save, I get the ‘Object reference not set to an instance of an object’ error shown in the screen capture below. After closing and reopening Visual Trader, I get another error ‘No data exist for row columns occurred’. Then the VT4 screen opens up and I get the ‘Object reference not set’ as before. And now, when I click file, I cannot open it. What is wrong with the procedure I followed? Can you please help me to fix this issue? Thanking you for helping me out.

Error -2147467261: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Occurred in routine 2178 – Cgroups.cls .Activate

Hi Justin,
The error is due to the system registry files in the system.
To resolve this error follow the steps mentioned below:

2) Type 'regedit' in the box, the registry editor window will open
3) Navigate to 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREAppRecoveryCoreAgents' from the list
