My computer has the ‘NvsvcStart Missing’ virus and I have tried following all the steps of removing it recommended on the internet but none has helped. I am now trying to uninstall it manually but I cannot get the steps to follow. Help me guys to get the best solution to this problem since I cannot even locate the NvsvcStart file in the first place. A step by step explanation is preferred.

I think you are right. NvsvcStart is really a virus. It is a Trojan horse designed to be aggressive to steal the user’s financial information. When this virus first enters your computer, it will first put 1 or more small malicious rootkits into your operating system. The function of the rootkits is to send incorrect commands or instructions to the operating system.

When your system receives and follows the instructions, it may disable normal programs or applications from running. This is the part where the operating system becomes very vulnerable to attacks. On a heavily infected computer, the machine takes a very long time to boot as well as to shut down.

You can also experience frequent crashing, your screen turns completely black, and the famous BSOD or the blue screen of death. Since I think your computer is already infected or possibly heavily infected, download and install Sophos Virus Removal Tool. The tool is recommended to be used on already infected machines.

There is no problem if you already have an antivirus. The tool works alongside any antivirus program you may have. When scanning, repeat the scan until it no longer detects a virus. Once your computer is clean, if you still trust your antivirus, make sure it is regularly updated. Your antivirus is useless if you don’t update it.
