Nvidia control panel on os x lion slowing down system performance

I’m using a MacBook pro with Apple OS X Lion with NVIDIA video drivers. For some reason, I have a feeling that NVIDIA control panel on OS x lion is slowing down system performance. Sometimes, it comes to worst that it even crashes the system and I have no other choice but to force close the applications with my unsaved work and restart all over again. I am wondering if I am the only experiencing this issue with Apple OS X Lion?

You are not the only one experiencing the problem with NVIDIA Drivers on Apple OS X. NVIDIA Control Panel has a known issue with the Apple OS that makes the system slows down or sometimes crash. As of now there is no solution for the incompatibility of the two softwares. Try to kill the NVIDIA Application Immediately so the MAC will run on its default video drivers.

Hi,

 

There are Some complications in compatibility of the NVIDIA driver for the video card in OS x lion in some cases it's better to update 

 

The NVIDIA file check also the compatibility of the video card if the video card is supported by the NVIDIA or update the OS x lion.
