Hi,

I think it is not any system error or fault. From your image posted above I come to a decision like. You have created the problem. By using periods in your Revit file names, you are inviting the problem. So, stop using periods in your Revit file names. Problem will be solved immediately – I think.

Have your problems solved?

Thanks for asking.

That error can happen if you open the file in the recently opened files. The error happens because the path to the files are not updated in case the files got deleted or moved to a different location like to a different folder or drive. To fix the problem, check the path of the file you want to open if it exist or valid.

Also, check that the drive letter is valid. If the drive does not exist, maybe it is from an external drive like USB flash drive or external hard drive. If the file is stored on an external drive like USB flash drive or external hard drive, connect the drive to your computer to fix the problem and access the file.

You can also copy the file to your local hard drive if you need to frequently edit the file.
