Hello,
Use RT for solving the issue,
First you have to uninstall PCmatic and make some changes,
Go to Start then Programs then PC Pitstop then PC Matic and then click on 'uninstall PC MaticRT'.
Now for making changes go to "Start" then "Control Panel" then "Folder Options" then View and under "Hidden files and folders" move the dot to "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"
For Windows 7 navigate to "My Computer" then "Local Drive C" then "Program Data" then "PCPitstopDat" then right click on the folder named "datRT" and delete that folder. For Windows XP the path is "My Computer" then Local "Drive C" then "Documents and Settings" then "All Users" then "Application Data" then "PCPitstopDatdatRT".
Now close all windows. Open PCmatic again and click on "Not Protected" icon to reinstall PC MaticRT, wait 5 min to complete the download, now try loading again.
Hope that helps!!
Not being able to load Pc matic program
Hello Goldie,
That could be a problem with the registries associated with the PC Matic program. Something like virus attack or deletion of files from your system could have led to the corruption of some registries and therefore you will need to fix that. The following is how you should fix the issue:
-
First, you will need to run the Disk Cleanup utility to removes any broken files on your computer that may be causing issues.
-
After that you will need to install CCleaner and then run it, and use it to fix the registry entry issues that your system might be having.
Regards,
Carl

It seems the file “sys.make” which the message in the dialog is referring to is corrupt. You can rule out compatibility problem because PC Matic fully supports Microsoft Windows XP. If you still have the program’s installer, just reinstall it. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select PC Matic from the list.
Click “Uninstall” then follow the normal uninstall process. When you are prompted to restart the computer, select to restart later. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftovers and delete everything it finds. This will remove everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller and restart the computer.
After booting, run the installer again to install PC Matic back. You can also download the latest PC Matic. The latest version at the moment supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10.
