Not able to Install X11 on my Mac

Hi,

When I try to install X11 on my Mac, an error message appears and it says that newer software is found so that X11 could not be installed.  I try to un-install X11 and re-install it again and the error message continues to appear which is very annoying. Please find attached the screenshot of the message for your reference.

Could anyone know how to resolve this error please?

Thanks in advance.

It might happen that previous version of X11 is not uninstalled properly with few leftover left. Can you trash those leftovers manually? Try again on a different partition if you have on your Mac OS X.

Although it is not the current version, you can always update it. To update it please follow these simple steps:

2. When you click there it will show you the newer version

3. If you are happy with the new version, simply click update Hope that helps!
