Mac New OS Mountain Lion

Mountain Lion will be released in a few weeks from now. I'm just thinking if it's worth to overhaul my system for this new OS. Is there a way to automatically back-up my current system when I upgrade to this new one? Any improvements on customization?

Thank you in advance!

It seems like you are planning to upgrade your present operating system to a new Mac OS X Mountain Lion. It is set to be released this July for $19.99 on Mac App Store. This new version includes over 200 new features and you can now send iMessages from your Mac computer to an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or to another Mac.

If you want to do a backup of your present system in case something goes wrong after installing the new version, you may consider cloning your hard drive so you can fully restore it to its original state.
