Norton Sonar Protection fix now

My norton was installed for some time and no problem has occurred and suddenly I saw the norton sonar protection is off, thought that it was just a glitch so I click on the fix now button and at the end sonar wont turn on, I even update norton and restarted my computer also tried norton's fix for this but still the problem is there.

Norton Sonar Protection fix now

Hello Abram,

Use the following steps to resolve the issue:

• First of all you will need to backup your Identity Safe data.
• And then you will download latest Norton Internet Security installer.
• Also download the Norton Removal Tool.
• After that, disconnect your computer from internet.
• And then get rid of Norton Internet Security from Start Menu or from Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs
• After that reboot the computer, and then run the Norton Removal Tool.
• Reboot the computer again.
• And then install the Norton Internet Security 2012, and after that reconnect to the internet.
• You will then activate it with your serial, and then run Live Update until you get no new updates.
• You can restore your Identity Safe data after that.

Norton Sonar Protection fix now

This problem normally happens when some of the updates required for Sonar have not been updated to the Norton program through LiveUpdate for the first time. For unexpected times, the updates may have been downloaded via Automatic LiveUpdate afterwards which can suddenly resolve this problem. But for the assurance, you should try to run LiveUpdate again and make sure that all of the updates needed are received by the Norton program.

After doing these suggestions check if the problem is fixed. As a last resort, if the problem still occurred, re-installation of the whole program might be needed.
