Hey,

Nokia Asha 200 is a new device from Nokia. You can use Nokia Ovi Suite to synchronize your mobile phone from any computer. Sometimes Nokia PC suite makes trouble to synchronize Nokia devices from the computer. So if you change the PC suite for your new Nokia Asha 200, it can resolve your problem.

To download Nokia Ovi Suite, please go here http://download.cnet.com/Nokia-Suite/3000-18511_4-10972355.html and then download it in your computer. After download successfully that software, let try to install in in your computer and then connect your Nokia Asha 200 device in your computer USB port by use the data cable.

Hope your problem will be resolve.

Hello Brett,

Please try the following workaround and see if it will help resolve the issue that you're getting:

  • First, you will need to Program and Features/Add Remove in Control Panel,
  • And then click Ovi Suite, and then click Repair.
  • After that repair is complete, you will need to restart the computer and check.

If the above does not work, try the following:

  • On your computer go to Program and Features/Add Remove in Control Panel
  • And then go click Ovi Suite, and then click Uninstall.
  • You will also need to uninstall the following: Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver and PC connectivity Solution
  • Once you have done that you will run the following commands from Command Prompt:

msiexec /x {6D3245B1-8DB8-4A23-9CD2-2C90F40ABAF6}

msiexec /x {AF111648-99A1-453E-81DD-80DBBF6DAD0D}

  • After that you will right click my computer, click manage.
  • And then go to device Manager > Ports
  • Inb case there is anything by name Nokia please uninstall it.
  • After that you can retry the process.

Regards,

Carl
