When can we expect the next version of Microsoft Office from Microsoft.

Are they planning to release the Microsoft Office 2012 or not?

Microsoft has released it new Microsoft office only for testing purpose.

You can also download this latest office, and you can actually test it.

Microsoft office the latest version is mainly focused for windows 8, As the latest office also incorporates few features of windows 8.

This latest office can be installed on windows 7 and windows 8 as well.

There are lot of new features in this latest version of Microsoft office.

Next version of Microsoft Office

I think the latest version for the Office suite is the Microsoft Office 2013 which is also called Office 15. It is the next version after Microsoft Office 2010. Microsoft Office 2013 started its development in 2010 and finished on October 11, 2012 when it was released to manufacturing. Microsoft released Office 15 to general availability on January 29, 2013.

Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 15 requires Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 for non servers. For servers, it runs on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012. The Service Pack 1 update for Microsoft Office 2013 was released on February 25, 2014. The development on Microsoft Office 2013 actually started while Microsoft is finishing the work on Office 14 which was then released as Microsoft Office 2010.

A technical preview of Microsoft Office 2013 build 3612.1010 was released on January 30, 2012 to a chosen group of testers compelled by non-disclosure agreements. The manner Microsoft Office 2013 is distributed is different from previous versions. The retail copies of Office 15 are not available on DVD; the retail copies only contain a product key. Users need to go to the Office website to download the software.
