NetZero Software Does Not Install (Double Launch)

For my Internet connection, I have decided to use NetZero as my ISP.

When I tried to install the starting software for NetZero, the error shown below keeps popping up.

I have tried to double-check whether NetZero is, indeed, already running, but the same error shows up even when I launch the installation for the first time.

How do I go about repairing this? Thanks, everyone!

The NetZero software is already running.

You must close the software before starting it.

NetZero Software Does Not Install (Double Launch)

There are several troubleshooting steps you can do whenever you get this king of error:

• First up, make sure your system meets the minimum requirements for NetZero:

                – if you're using Win xp, here are the requirements:              

                           – 800MHz or higher processor, 512 MB RAM,20 MB free disk space, 56k modem, Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher,  SVGA monitor with 800×600 resolution

• Check if NetZero automatically starts in start-up:

                 –  look for the NetZero icon on your system tray

                 –  right-click the icon, click on options, and uncheck Launch NetZero when I startup my computer

This will ensure NetZero doesn't run automatically when you boot-up.

• Reboot your pc.
• If you're still getting the error, download the latest NetZero software from https://account.netzero.net/account/acmg/download.do
