You have to follow some steps to install Netgear wireless router setup in your system, and they are as follows :
Step 1: Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection
Step 2: Connect the modem with internet port on Netgear router with Ethernet Cable.
Step 3: Connect the computer with the router through an Ethernet cable.
Step 4: Turn on your router.
Step 5: Open your web browser and go to the login page (routerlogin.net)
Step 6: Log in to the router by your default username and password, which are case sensitive.
Step 7: Click Advanced and then setup Wizard.
Step 8: Give all the permission for installation and finish the setup then, your router will start catching the internet.
Step 9: Create a new Admin and Password for the system.
Step 10: Setup a security question and answer that question.
Step 11: At last a congratulations page appears in front of you showing the completion of setup.
Step 12: Click Next and check about Firmware Update Assistant update. If it’s available then, update it and, if not, you have completed in your setup.
Now your browser is setup.
Step 13: Now login with username and password which you have created earlier.
Your router is setup.
