I am planning to buy an external hard drive because my PC is full of pictures and it is eating up my memory. I want something that is not so expensive but has a good performance. My friend suggests to try a Seagate brand but I want to be sure that it will worth my expense and has value for money. Can someone give me a Seagate sata3 2tb review?

The Seagate Sata 3 2TB is good one with a reasonable price. I can summarize its important features in to :

64 Megabytes cache that's a good cache for it gives it a fair read and write speed about 36 Megabytes per second.

7200 RPM ( Round per Minute ) and that's pretty low so don't expect much of speed.

The massive 2 or 3 terabytes storage will of course help you fixing the space issue for a long time.

Reasonable price about 42 Sterling pound and a five years warranty.
