Need a list of the equipment for setting up lab

I need somebody to assist me make a list of the equipment  that are essential for setting up a lab(e.g. Linksys Routers, Catalyst Switches and others apart from the obvious which is computers), that will be used in the teaching and training of CCNA students. I intend to have a lab that has twenty workstations and it should have all equipment such that, the students will be guided and taught by a hired instructor who will give them a thorough preparation so that they can sit for CCNA test.

Hello Sean,

You will need quite a lot of equipment to set up the CCNA class, some of which are the following:

• Since this is a CCNA class and you intend to teach the students about CISCO, I will suggest that you get a CISCO router as opposed to the Linksys router that you have suggested.
• You will also need a Cisco switch to connect the 20 computers on the network to the server.
• You will for sure a server.
• You will network cables and RJ45 connectors. For cables you will need both UTO and fiber.
• You will need software called LAN school for teaching the student.
• Software called packet tracer will be needed too.
